Greenwood Chamber and Greenwood Public Library will host
Local Government Reception
Event will give community members a chance
to learn more about their local officials.
Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce and Greenwood Public
Library will unite local government officials and their constituents during the Local Government Reception held at 7 p.m. on July
30 at the Greenwood Public Library, 310 S. Meridian Street.
A new event for the Chamber, the reception is the perfect opportunity for the community to meet and learn about local government officials
from southern Marian and northern Johnson Counties as well as the three school corporation boards that serve the area: Greenwood,Center Grove and Clark-Pleasant.
“The Chamber hosts a successful legislative breakfast series during the Indiana General Assembly
for the community to meet state legislators. We see this as an opportunity to better serve the community by giving them a chance
to learn about local government,” sad Christian Maslowski, executive director of the Greater Greenwood Chamber.

+ Hauser, Inc. is sponsoring the Local Government Reception. The gathering is a way for the business community to network and
forge new partnerships with local government agencies.
“This
event is a great opportunity for the business community and local officials to foster relationships,” said Greenwood City Councilor
Monica Magna-Rees.
